Android Nougat 7.1.1 is now rolling out to Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Compact

Sony may not have a very good reputation in the smartphone industry but it has a respectable place when it comes to releasing Android updates as well as security patches.  The company keeps pushing latest Android version to many of it’s devices.

The latest smartphone from Sony to joine the Android Nougat wagon is the Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Compact. It comes with several new features and improvements on board. The company had already released the Android Nougat update with version 7.0 of Android. But now it brings Android Nougat version 7.1.1 . The Android Nougat 7.1.1 is the top most and latest available version of Android from Google. For those who want to know, the software firmware version comes to 34.3.A.0.194 after this update. The update brings several new features of Android Nougat 7.1.1 . It brings new Unicode emojis and characters, and quick menus for supported apps. The update also brings Security patches upto June 1 from Google.
