Apple releases iOS 10.3.2, watchOS 3.2.2, tvOS 10.2.1, and macOS 10.12.5

Apple

Apple has released a bunch of software updates for its entire range of devices like iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV as well as the macOS Sierra. These new updates are now available for download and do not contain any new features (except macOS) but the usual bug fixes or security enhancements.

iOS 10.3.2

As per the official release notes, iOS 10.3.2 includes some bug fixes and security enhancements. Apple has a KnowledgeBase article that details the security content.

To grab the latest update, head to General > Software Update on your device and check for updates. Update size is 196.4MB (may vary).

watchOS 3.2.2

Like the iOS update, the watchOS 3.2.2 also includes improvements and bug fixes, proves this KnowledgeBase article.

To get the update, connect your iPhone to the internet via Wi-Fi while the Apple Watch sits in close proximity. Then launch the Watch app on your iPhone and tap General > Software Update.

tvOS 10.2.1

Like iOS and watchOS software enhancements, tvOS 10.2.1 provides bug fixes and other enhancements, too.

Your Apple TV may or may not start updating automatically depending upon the internet connection availability. But, you can manually force the update by going to Settings >> System >> Software Update.

macOS 10.12.5

The support article for macOS 10.12.5 says:

  • Fixes an issue where audio may stutter when played through USB headphones.
  • Enhances compatibility of the Mac App Store with future software updates.
  • Adds support for media-free installation of Windows 10 Creators Update using Boot Camp.
  • Adds support for more digital camera RAW formats.
  • Resolves an issue, affecting some enterprise and education customers, that may cause the system date to be set to the year 2040.
  • Prevents a potential kernel panic when starting up from a NetInstall image. This fix is available when starting up from a NetInstall image created from the macOS 10.12.5 installer.
