Google is the most used search engine on the planet. Even there were reports that people believe internet more than their knowledge. We all know that Bing wasn’t a much profitable business for Microsoft but still Microsoft was having hope & the company was fighting with the scenario. The actual figures were taken from ComScroe’s latest US desktop search engines rankings. The ranking was first released on 16 December on ComScore’s website. The report says that Google is leading the search engine business with 63.9% of market share while it was 67% last year. So we can see that there is a dip in Google’s search share. Bing (listed as Microsoft Sites) is now having 21% of search share while it was 20% some months ago. OS it has also seen some improvements. Now let’s talk about Yahoo which is at third place with 12.5% of search share.

The rise in Bing’s share is mainly due to release of Windows 10. We can  also say that Windows 10 comes with Cortana which is already connected to Bing & provides search results from bing.
