Ringing bells Pvt. Ltd. a NOIDA based company which took the mobile phone market into storm by launching the world’s cheapest device. The company launched a smartphone for just Rs. 251 with good enough features for the price they were asking. After that the company was into many troubles from private agencies as well as from the government along with court for such a phone.
At the starting, the company started booking of the freedom 251 smartphone through their official website but wasn’t successful because their payment gateway was crashed. In the early days of booking, a total of 2.5 million smartphones were booked on the website. Then the company opted for Cash on delivery payment option & refunded money to respective user’s account who have already paid using the gateway.
Now we have some good news for the buyers for Freedom 251 device. The device was seen & reported by IANS. They have published some pictures of the device which looks totally different from what bloggers & reviewers have received as review units. The review units were having a home/back button at the front but the actual device seen by IANS didn’t had that design. Actually the real device is having 3 regular capacitive buttons i.e. the Recent Apps, Home & Back button. Now if we talk about the back, the review units were having camera module on the top right while the actual device has camera module in the center & LED flash is just below it. The software UI & icons are also totally changed from what we have seen in the review units which were allegedly called Adcom K1 device.
