Gionee X1 with 5-inch HD display, 2 GB RAM and fingerprint scanner launched in India for Rs.8999

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has now silently introduced a new smartphone in India. The latest offering from Gionee is a budget device but also for those who love to click selfies.

The new member to join Gionee India is Gionee X1. In terms of specifications, the Gionee X1 is pretty minimalistic device with it’s 5-inch display having HD resolution that makes it to 1280×720 pixels. Talking about other things, the device comes with basic 2 GB of RAM and similar 16 GB storage combination as expected for a budget device. The smartphone is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 SoC.

Coming to the camera department, the Gionee X1 is equipped with 8MP camera on the back side with LED flash. On the front, it comes with another 8MP sensor.
