Google has now silently pushed an update to the Google Play Store on Android.
The latest update to Google Play Store brings some new features and UI changes as well. This update brings software version 7.6.08.N-all to the Google Play Store.
What’s new is in the My Apps and Games section. To check the update, just open Google Play Store on your Android smartphone. And here tap on the hamburger menu to get the menu options. In the list, tap on ‘ My Apps and Games’ and it will take you to the new app menu.
Here you’ll see 4 tabs named as Updates, Installed, Library and Beta tabs. Under the ‘Updates’ tab it shows you the recently updated apps as well as the updates currently available. The recently updated section shows you the time if update also in form of minutes or hours ago. The ‘Updated Available’ section shows the currently available updates with actually size along with the last date of update.
The ‘ Installed ‘ tab shows the apps that are installed on thisdevice and some other devices as well if you have any other device with this account. It shows the app size and the last time when each app were used. There is a sorting button on the right that lets you sort by alphabetical, by last updated, by last used and by size.
The 3rd tab is of Library that shows the total apps that you’ve used till date on this account. It lists your apps that aren’t currently installed on your Android smartphone.
Now there is 4th tab showing ‘Beta’ apps. Currently we are using some 4 beta apps on our test device. It is running Android Nougat 7.0 at the time of publishing this article.
