‘Hey Cortana’ removed from Android version



Microsoft pushed an update to it’s Cortana app for Android. The app version has been up to . This update includes some improvements in stability & performance . These are some bug fixes also on board.Microsoft launched Cortana earlier this month for Android & iOS devices across the globe.These is also a noteworthy thing that comes with  this update is the ‘Hey Cortana’ voice command has been removed from the Android app i the US market. ‘Hey Cortana’ is a voice command that lets you operate Cortana without touching device by just using these two words to wake up Cortana.

The reason for removing the command is still unknown but some reports say that it was conflicting with the native Voice search of Android system ‘Ok Google’ . Despite all this we haven’t found any confirmation from Microsoft regarding this.
