MediaTek has announced their next flagship chipset. It is well known to us that MediaTek has always been seen around in budget to mid-range smartphones. It is also mostly used by Chinese OEMs for making their smartphones affordable and high quality.
MediaTek has now introduced the next gen of flagship chipset as MediaTek Helio X30. The Helio X30 os a Deca-Core chipset using 10nm process. As it is based on 10nm processing, it is out against the Snapdragon 835 and Samsung Exynos 8895 which are currently the flagship ones from Qualcomm and Samsung respectively.
Now if we talk about the specifications and features of MediaTek Helio X30, it comes with 50% more power than previous MediaTek flagship chipset. Another major improvement is in the battery saving, it brings 30% battery improvements over the previous MediaTek chipset. It has got 2x 2.5GHz ARM Cortex-A73 , 4x 2.2Ghz ARM Cortex A-53 and 4x 1.9GHz ARM Cortex A-39 architecture. It has got support for 4x 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM with upto 8GB. Storage options include UFS 2.1 qnd eMMC 5.1 . It has got Support for 16Mp + 16MP dual rear cameras. Video support includes 4K x 2K at 30fps. Display resolution supported is WQXGA with 2560×1600 pixels at 60fps.
