OxygenOS Open Beta 1 brings Android Oreo to the OnePlus 5

As expected, OnePlus has now started rolling out a new update to the OnePlus 5 smart. The latest update is all about an effort to bring Android Oreo to the OnePlus 5.

The update comes as OxygenOS Open Beta 1  for the OnePlus 5. It brings Android Oreo Beta to the OnePlus 5. As the update is major one, it brings a big list of changes also.

Speaking of the changes, the update comes with some system and launcher changes. System changes include introduction of Android Oreo 8.0 and some Oreo features line PIP (Picture in Picture) mode, smart text selection, improved auto fill, parallel apps and  October security patches as well

  • Added Parallel Apps

Launcher:

  • Added notification dots
  • New app folder design
  • Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus.
