Xiaomi launches the Mi Induction Heating Pressure Rice Cooker with WiFi connectivity

Xiaomi today announced a new budget smartphone called as the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro. It is rather an upgraded version of earlier announced Redmi 3 smartphone.

Now the company has announced a new division or you can call it a sub-brand under the Xiaomi brand called as Mi Ecosystem, which is also known as MIJIA. Under this brand, the company has announced a totally new device which is a smart rice cooker called as Mi Induction Heating pressure Cooker. It is having built-in WiFi 802.11n connectivity which makes it easier to connect to cloud. It can also be connected to the mobile app which can control the cooking parameters of the rice in the cooker. It also has a magnetic relief valve which controls the internal pressure. Th internal container is made of Grey cast iron which is really strong.

In order to cook the rice, you just need to scan the data code of your rice package & this data will be uploaded to cloud which can be used whenever required. The Cooker has 3-liter capacity & comes with a spoon also. So this ios a great move from Xiaomi in order to enter into the smart home market.

The Xiaomi Mi Induction Heating Pressure Rice Cooker is priced at CNY 999. It will be available to purchase during the Mi Fan festival starting April 6th.
